Born August 10, 1953 in Dos Palos, CA
to Arnold V Martin and Marylee Chapel-Martin,
passed away at home on April 26, 2022 at age of 68.
Gerry graduated from Dos Palos High School class of 1972.
During his high school years, he was a member of FFA,
played football and was also on the wrestling team.
After High School Gerry attended Coalinga Jr College and
graduated with an AA in Heavy Equipment operations.
He also attended Columbia Community College majoring
in Forestry.
Gerry married Susan Diane Lee April 19, 1980.
May 7, 1985 their son Geremy James Lee Martin was born.
Gerry an avid outdoorsman enjoyed both water & snow skiing,
hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. Hunting being his favorite.
He was also a member the Central Homing Pigeon Club
where he raised and raced homing pigeons.
Gerry was preceded in death by his Grandparents,
James & Vada Martin, Andy & Billie Stokes.
Father, Arnold (Bud) Martin.
Gerry’s Mother, Marylee Martin passed away one week after his death.
He is survived by his wife Susan Martin, son Geremy Martin,
brother William (Bill) Martin and wife Carol, sister Linder Farmer,
1 nephew, 5 nieces, 6 great nephews and 8 great nieces.
Gerry’s greatest love was serving the Lord and sharing God’s word.
