Gerardo Mojica “Chico” was born on August 13, 1974 in Los Angeles, CA and passed away on September 14, 2012 in Planada, CA at the age of 38.
Chico resided in Merced for the past 25 years and was a graduate of Merced High School.
One of his favorite things to do was to travel with his family especially to the bay area. His pride and joy in life however were his children and grandchild.
He was a loving husband, father, and papa who will be dearly missed.
Chico leaves behind his wife, Serena Hernandez; children, Gerardo II, James, and Adrian Mojica; grandchild, Gerardo Mojica III; parents, Augustine and Soledad Mojica; brothers, Augustine Jr., Alex, and Juan Mojica; sister, Naomi Mojica all of Merced; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and a good friend, Toddy.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, September 22nd at Calvary Cemetery, 260 W. Childs Ave., Merced, CA with a reception to follow at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home Reception Hall, 1490 B St., Merced, CA.
Arrangements are under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
