Gonzalo "Chow" Curiel, age 51, of Merced, California passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Gonzalo was born April 28, 1970. Gonzalo was a Tow Truck Driver and worked as an Auto Detailer for many years. He enjoyed Barbequing, Sci-Fi, watching golf and taking care of his mom. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by his brothers, sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Gonzalo is preceded in death by his father Andres Curiel. He is survived by his brothers, Andres Curiel III and Everado Curiel; his sisters, Maria Salinas Peña, Sophia Curiel, Gracie Gutierrez, Norma Curiel and Thelma Curiel Denny.
A visitation for Gonzalo will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, CA 95340, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
