Isaac Luiz Sr.

Mr. Isaac Luiz Sr. was born on December 23, 1939 in Malakoff, TX and passed away on December 29, 2012 in Merced, CA at the age of 73.

Isaac a native of Malakoff, TX later moved to Frederick, CO for 35 years. He later moved to Merced, CA and resided there for the past 14 years.

He worked as a carpenter for 40 years and was a member of the Carpenters and Millwrights Union.

Isaac was preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Elisa Luiz; son, Alexander Luiz; brother, Joe Luiz; and sister, Elvira Rodriguez.

He leaves behind his wife, Dora Luiz; sons, Isaac Jr. Luiz (Josu Garmendia) and Robert Luiz; daughters, Lisa Luiz (Steve Fuller) and Donna Connely; grandchildren, Robert Jr, Victoria, and Julia Luiz; brothers, Manuel (Betty) Luis and Santos (Rachelle) Luiz; and sister, Eva (Crisoforo) Morales.

A visitation will be held at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced, CA on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Recitation of Rosary will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Our Lady of Mercy, 21st & Canal St., Merced, CA at 9:30am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00am. Interment will follow services at Calvary Cemetery.
