It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jack Anthony Martini, died of illness complications on Friday, May 13th, 2011. In Carson City, Nevada.

Jack was born on January 13th, 1963. In Merced, California. He grew up and went to school in the surrounding Merced/Atwater area., and finally settled to live Carson City, Nevada.

He was a member of the California and Nevada Labor Union’s, based in Elko, Nevada. and worked on the U.S. Natural Gas Pipeline in the mountains of northern Nevada.

Jack, in his youth, was an exceptional athlete, participated in local junior football and baseball programs. He was a member of the Atwater Boxing Club and a Regional BMX Motor Cross champion.

Jack enjoyed life to the fullest, his sense of humor always left you with a smile, and he will surely be missed by all his family and friends alike. Jack was the type of person who loved his family dearly, and the type of son who would without fail, call his mother Connie daily; just to say hello and I love you Mom.

Jack, is survived by his wife; Sandy Martini, Mother; Connie Marcinko and four brothers and three sister-in-laws; Robert & Tina Martini, Richard & Felicia Martini, Rudy & Nancy Martini, Christian Marcinko.

Also surviving Jack are his dearly loved nieces & nephews; Jessica & John Lamb,

Lisa & Chris Hansen, Rhiannon & Chris Creter, Bettina & Tom Perkin, John Paul & Melissa Martini, Ashley & Ryan Hansen, Lily Rose Perkin, Amber Burdzinski,

Ryan Creter, and twins Charles & Thomas Lamb, twins Travis & Myria Martini and Shannon Hobbs, Henri & Eric Garcia.

Jack was a family tree member of the late Pablo and Lola Flores from LeGrand, California.

Jack was preceded in death by parent John J. Marcinko Jr, and a nephew Dustin Hobbs.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 20, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Stratford Evans Funeral Home at 1490 B Street in Merced. Graveside services will be on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 12:00 PM. at Winton District Cemetery at 7651 West Almond Avenue, Winton.
