Janice Susan Watts, born December 2, 1948 to E.J. and Juby Norton, passed away July 21, 2021 at home. Janice was a lifetime member of the Community of Christ Church in Merced then in Modesto. Her passion was baking and selling custom cakes for all occasions. Janice was employed for 10 years at the Planada Elementary School in the cafeteria.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, E.J. and Juby Norton and her brother Billy Don.
She is survived by her son Jimi Watts (Candy) of Catheys Valley and grandchildren, Madison and Morgan. Also surviving her is her sister Carol Young of Planada who cared for her until the end and sister in law, Lola Mitchell.
There will be no services for Janice per her wishes.
