Jerry A. Wright

Jerry Ann Wright was born on August 30, 1941 and passed away on November 25, 2012 at the age of 71.

Jerry graduated from OLM High School in 1960. In the past several years Jerry’s passion has been to feed the homeless at Applegate Park and to perform prison ministries at Valley State Prison for women. She was known as “Grama” at both places and everybody loves their “Grama”! She had a hope of helping at least one other person.

The family would like to thank Dr. Eugenia Garcia for her loving care of Jerry over the past years. She was not only a very good doctor but also a very dear friend to Jerry.

Jerry was preceded in death by her father, John Passarino; mother, Florence Eger; son, Dean Wright; and brother, Edward Eger.

She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Wright; daughters, LaNette Formby, Laurel Wetzel, and Lisa Coelho; granddaughter, Sara Formby; grandson, Trevor Coelho; sisters, Yvonne (Glen) Jackson, Cheryl (Darin) Olear, and Beverly (Chris) Govea; and brothers, Donald Passarino and Terry (Janet) Passarino.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced, CA from 2:00pm-7:00pm. Recitation of Rosary will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 617 E Yosemite Ave, Merced, CA on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 9:30am with Mass of Christian burial to follow at 10:00am. Interment will follow services at Evergreen Funeral Home and Memorial Park.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
