John David Glenn Jr.

Johnny was born November 16, 1949 in Lawton, OK to JD & Alice Glenn. He graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1968 and from the University of Oklahoma in 1972. Johnny was employed in the family business as a homebuilder and later for the County of Merced where he took great pride in his building projects until his retirement in 2006.

In 2006, John married Lydia Glenn in Mariposa, CA. They enjoyed traveling and trips to Chukchansi Casino.

Johnny was an avid Oklahoma Sooner football fan and enjoyed working on an endless amount of projects around his home. He liked cooking, spending time with his favorite dog Calie, and learning about and building computers.

Survivors include his wife, Lydia; a son, John D. Glenn III and his wife, Stacy, Georgetown, TX; a daughter Melanie Fortier and her husband Warren, Fresno, CA; stepchildren, Linda Gallegos, Diana Yoste, Jose Gallegos, Javier Gallegos and Maria Campbell; and grandchildren, Tanner and Haley Glenn of Georgetown, TX; Ava and Zachary Fortier of Fresno, CA.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Rapp; and his parents J.D. and Alice Glenn.
