John John Boy Ramirez Meneses

Born in Merced, Ca, to Pedro and Aurora Meneses, John Boy was the baby of the family and spoiled rotten by all his siblings.

He was a die-hard Raiders fan and was over joyed when his best friends Jose and Nick took him to his first Raiders game.

He spent his working career as an auto body repair man, specializing in painting cars. Nothing made him prouder than seeing his masterpiece complete, a cherry painted car.

His children were his pride and joy and he loved spending time with them. He also loved barbequing with friends and family, and playing pool and horseshoes with his brothers.

For John Boy, laughter was the best medicine. John Boy was a well-liked easy going guy, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his father Pedro Meneses Sr.; mother, Aurora Meneses and brother “Big Al”.

He is survived by his children Angelica, Juanita, Brandon and Juanito; siblings, Pete Jr, Linda, Dolores, Mike, Nick, Stella, Raymond and Rita.

John Boy, your laughter and love will be forever in our hearts. We love you, Rest In Peace.

A Vigil Service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. with Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 519 W. 12th Street, Merced, Ca. Reception to immediately follow at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home Hall.
