Joseph Angel Vega

Joseph A. Vega, 52, of Madera, Ca. entered peaceful, and eternal rest on Sunday, June 16, 2024. He was born in Merced, Ca. on September 7, 1971 to Joseph P. and Esther B. Vega. Joseph received his education in Merced County while living here for 44 yrs. He was a Roman-Catholic Christian, and a spirited believer of the Good News. Joseph’s favorite activities were trying his luck in bingo and slot machines, and calling his relatives at all times of the day. He had a wonderful and outgoing personality and a savant’s memory for phone numbers. He liked music on his laptop, watching personal videos, and was a lover of pets. Joseph also enjoyed many travels with his parents and sibling. Due to his challenged health 3 mos. after he was born, he was unable to accomplish higher education or attain employment. Joseph conquered meningitis, cancer, and pulmonary embolisms. However, he succumbed from other long lasting ailments. But Joe carried on, having vitality for life and relationships with others. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Esther Vega, and sibling Martha Torres. He is survived by many friends, relatives, and sibling David. Joseph’s last journey will be a private burial at Calvary Cemetery, Merced, Ca.
