

Larry was born in Peoria, IL. He was destined to be the oldest of 6 siblings. Upon graduating high school he began working as a machinist for Allis-Chalmers, which paid part of his college expenses. He worked midnight shifts, then off to college. Larry was married in 1967. Graduated in 1969 from Millikin University. He then joined the USAF and underwent pilot training in Laredo Tx 7107, then he was off to Vietnam. He then returned to the U.S. to Griffiss AFB for 6 years and then went to Castle AFB in Ca. Larry left the military as a Major and became an airline pilot for PSA, and then US Air. He medically retired after an auto accident. Larry then became a rifle, shotgun, pistol instructor. He was asked to be a Victims Teacher for the NRA and decided against it.
Larry is survived by his wife Margo; 2 sisters, Lois & Jean; 2 brothers, Tom & Bob. Also surviving Larry are several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 7th at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Merced, CA.
