Manuel was a native of Zacatecas, Mexico, until he moved to the United States 50 years ago and moved to Planada, California with his wife and raised their family together.
He was a hard worker, retiring from farm work after many years. He loved having gathering's at his home with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Manuel also married the love of his life, his wife Constanza and together they raised their children, Olga, Griselda, Salvador, Manuel Jr., Ramiro, Luisana, and Maria.
Manuel is preceded in death by his parents Jesus Bautista and Manuela Bautista Sandoval, his siblings, Ramiro and Eliseo Bautista.
He is survived by his beloved wife Constanza, his children, Olga Bautista, Griselda Bautista, Salvador Bautista, Manuel Bautista Jr., Ramiro Bautista, Luisana Bautista, and Maria Nava. He also leaves behind his twenty grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, his brother Trinidad Bautista and sister Socorro Flores.
A Visitation for Manuel will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, California.
A Prayer Service will occur Friday, May 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9317 Amistad St, Planada, California.
A Funeral Service will occur Friday, May 23, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9317 Amistad St, Planada, California.
A Graveside Service will occur Friday, May 23, 2025 from 12:19 PM to 1:30 PM at Plainsburg Cemetery, 8943 Gillette Ave, Merced, California.
Following the service, a luncheon will be hosted, providing family and friends with an opportunity to share stories, reminisce, and celebrate the remarkable life of Manuel from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home Reception Hall, 1490 B Street, Merced, California.
