She is survived by her husband Jose Magdaleno, her children Teresa Magdaleno, Yolanda Ortiz, Rafael Magdaleno and Sandra Capell, brothers Rosendo Vaca, Fransisco Vaca and Rafael Vaca, sisters Rosa Cervantes and Enedina Vaca, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents Carmen Vaca and Jose Vaca, her grandparents Antonio Campos and Maria Castel Viera, brothers Jose Vaca, Gilberto Vaca and Ruben Vaca, sisters Anita Govea and Theresa Vaca.
Maria loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved taking trips to the beach, enjoyed going to the snow, loved going to the casino and her favorite store to buy scratchers was Cardenas. Maria also loved collecting and dressing baby dolls and enjoyed knitting.
A Visitation Service for Maria will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM with Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, CA 95341.
A Rosary Service for Maria will be on March 28, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. Following with Mass Service at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Merced, California, 95341.
Following will be a Interment at Calvary Cemetery, 260 W. Childs Avenue, Merced, California, 95341.

Le sobreviven su esposo José Magdaleno, sus hijos Teresa Magdaleno, Yolanda Ortiz, Rafael Magdaleno y Sandra Capell, sus hermanos Rosendo Vaca, Francisco Vaca y Rafael Vaca, sus hermanas Rosa Cervantes y Enedina Vaca, diez nietos y once bisnietos.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres Carmen Vaca y José Vaca, sus abuelos Antonio Campos y María Castel Viera, sus hermanos José Vaca, Gilberto Vaca y Rubén Vaca, y sus hermanas Anita Govea y Theresa Vaca.
María amaba a todos sus nietos y bisnietos. Le encantaba ir a la playa, disfrutar de la nieve, ir al casino y su tienda favorita para comprar raspaditos era Cardenas. A María también le encantaba coleccionar y vestir muñecas, y le encantaba tejer.
