Mary Ann Tapetillo

March 12, 1932 – January 8, 2012

Mary Ann Tapetillo was born on March 12, 1932 in Denver Colorado and joined our Heavenly Father on January 8, 2012.

She was surrounded by all of her children and grandchildren at the time of her passing.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Adelia Quintana; daughter, Hilaria Rodriguez; sister, Viola Quintana; brother, Rudy Quintana; grandsons, Benjamin Tapetillo Jr. and Bernabe Tapetillo III.

Mary was a beloved mother who enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, telling her life stories of her upbringing and making us all laugh with joy. We will certainly miss all the holiday gatherings a “Gma’s “house, but the memories will never be forgotten.

Mary is survived by her children-Maria De Jesus Jimenez (Cruz), James Rodriguez, Bernabe Tapetillo (Gabi), Richard Tapetillo (Blanca), Joe Tapetillo (Elvia), Theresa Tapetillo, Benjamin Tapetillo (Darlene), John Tapetillo (Teresa), Victor Aguilar, Linda Murillo (Leo), and Victoria Vo; 36 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Norma Jean and Virginia.

Visitation will be held at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, at 1490 “B” Street, Merced, on Friday January 13, 2012 from 3:00-7:00p.m.with a Rosary to follow at 7:00pm.

Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 504 West 13th Street, on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 12:00 noon with burial to follow at Merced District Cemetery.
