Panotha Sue Andrews

Panotha Sue Andrews was born in Lindsey, OK June 16, 1926 and passed away at her daughter's home in Merced, with her daughter Susie and niece Cindy at her side on October 10, 2015. She was 89 years old.

Panotha was an enterprising woman who accomplished many things in her life. She worked for many years in Administration for the Del Monte Corp. and for Fighaven Farms. She bought a small grocery store in Merced and ran it for several years.

She then went back to college to get her Real Estate license and sold property for Burnett Realty before founding

Oak Tree Realty in Merced. After retirement she traveled, enjoyed her family and loved to play Bingo.

Panotha was preceded in death by her first husband Dolan Jenkins, her second husband Jim Andrews and her son Larry Jenkins. Her sisters

Melba Vitato, "Jo" Loveall, and Pat Montgomery, and her Brother Kenneth Hoover also preceded her in death. She is survived by her Daughter Susie Chandler, step daughters Nancy Hladek and Laurel Kurihari. She has 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She will be missed by all.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in Panotha's name be made to Hind's Hospice of Merced, (who were so gracious in caring for her in her last days).

A visitation will be held at on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Strafford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday October 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Merced District Cemetery, 1300 B Street, Merced, Ca.
