Richard Earl Webb

Richard received his wings and now soars like an eagle with the angels above. He passed away suddenly on February 14, 2012 at his home in Merced, California. He had recently been diagnosed with cancer, and had just began treatment shortly before his death.Richard was born in Los Banos, California, but grew up in Merced and spent most of his life here.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Earl Webb; mother, Betty webb; brother, Barney Willis; brother-in-law, Eddie Hamilton; and "like a sister", Jana Vickanoff.

Richard is survived by his siters, Linda Lawler, Sandi Draney (Mike), and Delores "Susie" Hamilton; son, Richard "Ricky" Webb, and daughter-in-law, Brenda Jimenez. Richard also leaves behind his pride and joy, grandson Aiden Webb. When Aiden was born, Richards world changed. His purpose in life was to be the best "Papa" in the world.. and he was. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, an uncle, aunts, and many friends.

Richards family encourages friends to bring a memory or share a story at his memorial service, which will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral home.
