Teddy Gene Callahan was born in Lebanon, Indiana. He passed away peacefully at the age of 53. Teddy grew up in Indiana, and at the age of 16 he went to L.A. to pursue a career in modeling before finally settling in Merced. Teddy’s life revolved around his children Megan and Ian. He was truly one of a kind. Later he met and married his “Sweet Caroline” and they built a life together. When Teddy obtained his Contractors License he was proud to establish his own business, Callahan Roofing. He remained actively involved in his children’s lives coaching baseball and soccer.. When on the sidelines, he was Megan’s and Ian’s biggest and loudest supporter. He was the kindest man with the biggest heart. He was a great role model for his children and will leave behind infinite life lessons. Teddy was a ray of sunshine and hope to many and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Teddy is survived by his wife Caroline, his two children, Megan & Ian, his parents Donna & Charles, and his brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 6th at 10:30 a.m. at Christian Life Center, Merced.
