

Willard was preceded in death by his parents Casselle and Amelia Yokley, his sister Ernestine, his brother Eugene and his brother Clarence.
Friends and family were a passion and delight to him, cars and motorcycles too!!
Willard grew up in Winton, California, attended School in Atwater and graduated from Atwater High School. Soon after graduation he was drafted into the United States Army for which he served his 2 year tour in Germany. Willard worked for Merced General Hospital for well over 40 years as a housekeeper supervisor. He retired from there, then went into business with his nephew James. The company was named Willard Yokley and James Johnson Trucking. He owned and was the instructor there for a few years.
Willard was at peace with God, everyone’s calls, visits and prayers filled his heart with joy and happiness. He expressed his love and appreciation to his sister Sandra for opening up her home to him and taking care of him even more so in his final days.
Willard leaves behind to cherish his loving siblings, his sister Katherine (Merced, CA), sister Arlene Norman (San Francisco, CA), sister Anna Louise Yokley (San Francisco, CA), brother Elroy Yokley (Merced, CA) and sister Sandra Joe (Atwater, CA) and also a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A visitation for Willard will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, CA 953416304. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1490 B Street, Merced, CA 953416304. A graveside service will occur Friday, October 25, 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at Merced District Cemetery, 1300 B St, Merced, CA 95341.
