

Graveside services for Robert E. “Bob” McQueen, 75, of Enterprise, are set for 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Goodwater Baptist Church cemetery in Meehan, MS with Rev. Steve Taylor officiating.
Mr. McQueen died on Monday, January 3rd at his residence. He was born on Sunday, June 23, 1935 to the late William Cloyd and Mabel Ora Allen McQueen. During his life he proudly served this country in the United States Marines. After his discharge, he came home and began working for the Mississippi Public Service Commission as a railroad inspector and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Bobby McQueen; three sons, William E. McQueen and his wife Rena, Preston Allen McQueen and his wife Judy Ann and David Paul “D.P.” McQueen; one sister, Margaret Bracken; eight grandchildren, Cindel, Jenna, Tanner, Brandon, Bradley, Joshua, John Michael, Sam Paul McQueen; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bill McQueen and one sister, Betty Dial.
Bradley, Joshua, John Michael, and Tanner McQueen, David Riley, Terry Swanner and Ty Clark will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 4th 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Stephens Funeral Home in Meridian.
