Robert Dewitt Ulmer

Services for Robert Dewitt Ulmer will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Wheatley officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Rose Hill with Stephens Funeral Home of Meridian in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ulmer, 79, of Meridian, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at his residence. He was a long time welder employed in the steel business. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth "Nell" Ulmer; son, Larry Ulmer; daughter, Toni Ulmer; grandson, Bryan Smith and his wife Brooke; granddaughter, Heather Falgout and husband Chris; great-grandchildren: Seth Smith, Sadie Smith and Hallie Claire Falgout; brother, Forrest Moulds and his wife Gladys; and, several beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Winnie Ulmer; brothers: Dave and Leroy Moulds; and sisters: Maureen Ulmer and Earlene Fleming.

Pallbearers will be Justin Hall, Adam White, Matt White, John Gasparetto, Mike Wall and Brian Long.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
