Ruby Thompson

Graveside services for Ruby Thompson will be held at 1pm Friday, March 23 at Concord Methodist Church Cemetery in Enterprise. Rev. James K. Williams is officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Thompson, 71, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She had previously worked as a seamstress at the Maywebb Hosiery Mill in Meridian and in the recent years worked as a clerk in several retail stores in the Meridian area.

She is survived by her sons, William Strickland and his wife Misty, Raymond Flowers and his wife Ruby, daughter, Linda Nell Harris, brothers, Odell Johnson, Larry Johnson, Bo Johnson and sister, Barbara Davis. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer Williamson, Donald Flowers, Henry Flowers, Chris Talbert, Whitney Strickland, Brook Walters, Brandy Walters, Ashley Pebbles, Megan Pebbles, Martha Nance, Steve Wayne Hoffer, Christy Glatz and Douglas Giddins along with eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Annie Marie Johnson and husband, Reggie Thompson along with several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday at Stephens Funeral Home.
