Sue Temple McLeod

Graveside services for Sue Temple McLeod will be held Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Magnolia Cemetery. Rev. Warren Hedgepeth will be officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McLeod, 82, formerly of Meridian, passed away at Plantation Manor Nursing Center in McCalla, AL on Monday, May 28th. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for the Jefferson County Department of Health. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren, enjoyed fishing and walking on the beach and collecting sea shells and shark teeth for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Max McLeod and his wife Susan and Mike McLeod and his wife Pam, all of Birmingham, AL, daughters, Debbie Beers and her husband Mike of Montgomery, AL, and Cyndi Perala of Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler, Patrick, Brandon and Christopher McLeod, Baird and Jordan Beers and Kasey Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ella Temple, brothers, Arlo, Lamar, George and Bobby Temple and sister, Helen Smith.

Visitation will be 1pm to 2pm at Stephens Funeral Home the day of the service.
