Andrea Lowe “Andi” Pitcher, 74, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, at St. Francis Hospice in Titusville, Florida, following complications from cancer.
Andi was born on September 21, 1951, in Newport News, Virginia, and spent her early years in Foxhill before moving to Seaford, Virginia. She graduated from York High School in 1970, where she discovered her love of music and singing, which she continued to share through her involvement with Seaford Baptist Church and various local missions.
During the summer before her junior year of high school, Andi met the love of her life, Michael “Mike” Pitcher. The two were married in 1970 in Seaford, beginning a lifelong partnership built on love, faith, and devotion to family. They made their first home in Hampton, Virginia, where they welcomed their two sons, before later relocating to Utah and eventually settling in Florida.
Andi had a dedicated career, working as a Data Entry Analyst for the IRS and later in the Accounting Department for Cape Canaveral Cruise Lines. Beyond her professional life, she was deeply devoted to her family and friends. She loved sharing stories of her faith and family, playing the piano, and nurturing her passion for gardening and caring for all living things.
Andi is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Pitcher of Cocoa, Florida; her sons, Michael Pitcher II and his wife Tracy, and James Pitcher and his wife Elana; and her cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Felicia, Maegan, Connor, and Jacob.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nina R. Lowe (Gentile) and Sigle H. Lowe of Seaford, Virginia; and her sisters, Nancy Griffith (Harvey) of Cobbs Creek, Virginia, and Becky Mohler (John) of Daleville, Alabama.
Andi will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her deep love for her family, and her kind and generous spirit. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished.
Andi will have a visitation at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953, US, on June 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
