Aurelia "Lina" LaRussa

Lina was a seamstress who had a talent for and love of knitting. She was also a homemaker and dedicated wife to her late husband, Silvestre LaRussa. Together they shared a greenthumb and spent much of their time together tending to their impressive fruit and vegetable garden. They raised their family in Marlboro, NY where they lived for over 30 years and moved to Merritt Island, Florida in 1998.

Lina leaves behind her four children, son Liborio LaRussa, daughter Josephine LaRussa-Brooks, daughter Antonina Trochiano and husband Alfred Trochiano, and daughter Sylvia LaRussa-Smith. Lina is also survived by eight grandchildren, Lian LaRussa, Brandon Brooks, Leena LaRussa, Jordan Brooks, Sylvestre LaRussa, Anthony Trochiano, Giuliana Trochiano and Tyler Smith, and one great-grandchild, Isabella Williams

Services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home in Merritt Island, Florida; Visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM. Service at 11:00 AM

Lina will be laid to rest in Brevard Memorial Park, 320 Spring Street, Cocoa, Florida 32927.
