Merritt Island

Eileen Terry Dosch (age 52) passed away in her home Thursday, August 30th in Merritt Island, FL. She was born in Plainfield, NJ, moved to Minnesota in 1984, and settled in Merritt Island in 2003. Eileen graduated from Union Catholic High School in 1977 before attending Muhlenberg Hospital School of Radiology Technology and starting her career as an X-ray technician. Eileen and Paul have been happily married since 10/11/80 and have a 24 year old son Christopher.

Eileen loved the ocean and walked on the beach almost every day. She enjoyed golfing with her husband and her father. She was a dedicated wife and mother that loved her family and always went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome.

She is preceded in death by her mother Francis Terry, nephew James Ritter, and niece Josephine Ritter. She is survived by her father Irving Terry, loving and devoted husband Paul (Merritt Island, FL), beloved son Christopher (Albany, NY), sister Christine Ritter (husband Stephen - South Plainfield, NJ), brothers John Terry (deceased wife Denise - Vero Beach, FL) and David Terry (wife Karen – South Plainfield, NJ). 3 cousins, 13 in-law siblings, and was proud to be “the cool aunt” to 32 nieces and nephews as well as 17 great-nieces and nephews.

For those interested in helping us celebrate Eileen’s life, there will be a wake from 5-7pm (4-5pm for family) on Monday, September 3rd at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home in Merritt Island. The service will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church the following day at 11am (Tuesday the 4th).
