Erik Joshua Steinman, 37, of Merritt Island, FL, passed away on December 22, 2017. He was born on August 13, 1980 in Norwich, CT. Erik worked as a media production finisher for Sign Language XL in Denver, CO.
Erik is survived by his mother, Mary Trettel, and stepfather, Mark Trettel, of Merritt Island, FL. His father, Robert Steinman, of Orlando, FL. Uncle, Peter Florence, of Merritt Island, FL. Aunt Joyce and Uncle Scott Davidson, of Stanford, MI. Aunt Sarah and Uncle Joseph Trickett, of Mansfield, CT. Aunt Wendy and Uncle Bill Majewski, of Norwich, CT. Stepsister, Deanna Doughton, of Colorado Springs, CO. Cousins, Carolyn Davidson-Cone, of Big Rapids, MI; Rose Davidson, of Holland, MI; Ben Trickett, of Ennis, TX; William Trickett, of Mansfield, CT; John Trickett, of Mansfield, CT; Patience Trickett, of Mansfield, CT; Owen Trickett, of Mansfield, CT; and step-grandfather and step-grandmother, Jim and Joan Trettel, of Merritt Island, FL.
A memorial service will take place Saturday, December 30, at 10 am at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Erik to the American Heart Association.
