

Helen was born in Canonsburg August 23, 1942, a daughter of the late John and Mary Levkulich Babeji.
She graduated from Canon McMillan’s first graduating class of 1960. After graduation, she worked as a secretary at Canon McMillan for 3 years. She then worked for the Central Intelligence Agency, and Presearch Research Company in Silver Springs, Maryland. She was a loving mother and housekeeper and prior to retirement, she was Area Supervisor for Meals on Wheels in Brevard County, Florida. She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Merritt Island.
On May 4, 1963, she married her husband of 51 years, Frank M. Jakubetz, Jr. who survives. Also surviving are one son, Frank M. (Carol) Jakubetz, III of Melbourne, Florida; two grandchildren, Skylar and Josh; four brothers, George “Bubs” Babeji, Charles (Cynthia) Babeji and Michael (Betty Ann) Babeji, all of Lawrence and John (Cathy) Babeji of Washington; one sister, Mitzi (David) Sollon of Canonsburg; her mother-in-law, Mary Ann Vernon of Merritt Island, Florida; two aunts, Ann Behling and Lillian Janousek and one uncle, Steve Levkulich; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Deceased is one sister-in-law, Linda Hartman Babeji.
Services were in Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, Merritt Island, Florida and a memorial service will be held in Canonsburg on a date to be announced, followed by burial in the National Cemetery of The Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in her name to a favorite charity. Pennsylvania arrangements entrusted to Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., Canonsburg, J.
