James Eugene Vida, 65, passed away October 12, 2010. Hew is survived by his wife, Sherryl Currie Vida; son, Matthew Vida; daughters, Sarah, Tracie and Natalie; sister, Bernadine; by marriage sons, Howard and Lonnie; and daughter, Lisa; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. James was employed by CSR at Cape Canaveral and served as a Marine and honored the code throughout his life. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, October 21nd at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home from 5-8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Merritt Island on Friday, October 22rd at 1:00 pm.
