He was born on Dec. 17th, 1917 in Madison Wi. to John and Catherine Caliva.
After a 35 year career with the US Post office John and his wife Daisy retired to Rockledge Fl.
He is survived by his children, John, Michael, Catherine, and Mary Ellen.
He is further survived by his sister Rose Cardella, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Tony, Sam, and George.
At John's request a private family service will be held.
