John Harold McCurley, 96, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Lt. McCurley served in WWII as a Navy Aviator and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and 2 Silver Stars. Following his naval career, he was an aerospace engineer for NASA and retired as Director of Future Projects. Survivors include sons Curtis, Bill (Elizabeth) and John; daughter Barbara (Eric) Lindberg; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
