John S Reinholdt Jr.

John Stanley Reinholdt, Jr., age 65 of Cocoa, FL, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at home. He was born September 23, 1946 in Patterson, NJ. John was predeceased by his father, John S. Reinholdt, Sr., and mother, Ann Shepard Reinholdt.

John was a graduate of Cocoa High School Class of ’64 and Brevard Community College. He also attended college at Southeast Louisiana University and was a Number 10 charter member of Phi Kappa Psi. John worked at Kennedy Space Center since 1979. He loved racing cars, playing softball and was a sports enthusiast.

He is survived by his significant other of 32 years Debbie Singletary, his sons John S. Reinholdt III of Merritt Island and Christopher (Kimberly) Reinholdt of Ventura, CA; his sisters, Kathleen (Bob) Cessac of Fayette MO, and Barbara (Roy) Tharpe of Merritt Island; and his three grandchildren Kiley, Victoria and Aiden.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 1940 North Courtenay Parkway Merritt Island, FL 32953 with a reception immediately following the service in the Dome fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice.
