Born in Buffalo, NY and graduated Cocoa High in 1959. She married her high school sweetheart of 54 years. Runner up for Mrs. University of Florida 1962. She had a love for everyone, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a soft, gentle, caring woman always with a kind and encouraging word. She had a passion for Jesus and wanted to share Him with everyone. She also loved to travel, recently cruising throughout Europe. She will be greatly missed but we know she will be in the arms of God.
Survived by her husband, the love of her life, Thomas L. Cain III; her three daughters, Sharon (Carl) Gauger, Tracy (Roy) Tharpe, and Jennifer (Tim) Crane; grandchildren, Heather, Brandon, Troy, Taylor, John, Nick, Haley, Kelly, and Carly; great grandson, Joel; sisters, Cindy Hines, Janie (Bill) Baker, Sandra (Arthur) Coker: sisters-in-law Janet (Jim) Holder, and Sara Alsup.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 2-4 pm at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, Merritt Island.
