Kathy O'Connor Kohlbrand

October 12, 1961 – January 17, 2025

Kathleen (Kathy) O’Connor Kohlbrand of Merritt Island Florida passed away peacefully. She was born in Worchester Massachusetts, attended Georgetown University and University of Tennessee Dental School before moving to Alexandrea Virginia with her husband. Her family relocated to Merritt Island in 1994 where she raised her family.

Kathy dedicated her career to caring for others as a Dentist in Rockledge, Florida since 1998, a role that reflected her compassionate nature and servant’s heart. She believed in staying active and healthy, enjoying Pure Barre classes, playing tennis, pickleball and taking long walks with her fur baby Rylie. Above all, Kathy treasured her family. They all loved a good game of ping pong, Jeopardy, Scrabble or basically anything where there was competition. She had a love for travel, visiting destinations around the world, but especially loved Italy. She taught herself Italian and could speak the language fluently. Kathy would spend countless hours painstakingly planning each trip. Each trip created cherished memories with family and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved son Scott A. Kohlbrand She is survived by her husband Ronald Kohlbrand and son Seth Kohlbrand.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Wylie- Baxley Funeral Home on Merritt Island. A private burial, for family only, will follow the service.
