Lisa spent her youth on Long Island where she would meet the love of her life, Joseph Johnson. Lisa would move to Brevard County in the early 1990s and attended the University of Central Florida, where she earned a degree in education. After she graduated, she and Joe married and made Merritt Island their home.
Lisa taught for several years before the birth of her daughter, Alexandra Marie. Lisa decided to give up her career to raise Alexandra. A couple years later, she gave birth to Joseph Michael. The family of four would remain on their beloved Merritt Island, where they formed a community of family and friends around them. Lisa dedicated her life to raising her children, a job she was incredibly proud of. She brightened every room she walked into with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. Her bubbly personality and positive look on life was truly admiring.
It would be an injustice to say that Lisa simply loved her family. Lisa’s love for Alie, Joe Jr, and her husband Joe has no bounds. Alie and Joe Jr are Lisa’s greatest accomplishments and gave her true joy and pride. Her happiest memories were spending time with her family boating, traveling, or simply being with each other at home. Her legacy will live on in the accomplishments and happiness of her family.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Baldwin, and is survived by her husband and children, her beloved mother Analinda Baldwin, and her two brothers, Michael Baldwin and Ronald Baldwin.
A celebration of life will take place Thursday, October 26th 2:00 pm at Georgianna Church Merritt Island (3925 S. Tropical Trail).
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.wyliebaxleymerrittisland.com for the Johnson family.
