Mary Barbara Benn, 98, passed into God’s Hands on June 18, 2010. She was born in Smith Township, PA on March 28, 1912. She was a beautician, seamstress and married Stephen M. Benn in 1941, who preceded her in death in 1987. She and the family arrived in Cocoa Beach in 1957 as Stephen began his career with General Dynamics at Cape Canaveral. She has lived on Merritt Island since 1959, and is survived by son Stephen R. Benn, daughter Bree-elle Ishtar and Brother Joseph Urbanek. She was a loving wife and mother and will be missed dearly by the family. Viewing will be from 6PM-8PM on Thursday, June 24th at the Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N. Courtenay Pkwy. Merritt Island, FL. Burial will be next at the Fairview Cemetery in Burgettstown, PA at a later date.
