Mike passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 25th. He came to Cocoa from Tulsa, OK in 1971. He graduated
from Cocoa High School in 1973. He later joined the United States Navy and served as Torpedo Man’s Mate, Third
Class, on the USS Haddock and the USS Enterprise. He received an Associate in Arts degree from Brevard
Community College. In 1992, he married his wife, Beverly, and throughout their marriage, they traveled
extensively in the United States.
Mike had many talents and pursued many different careers. His cartoon drawings always brought a good
laugh, and he had a great sense of humor. He loved animals, but especially dogs, and shared many cute and funny
pictures of them with his friends on Facebook.
Mike is survived by his wife, Beverly of Cocoa, and sisters Susan Henderson of Arlington Heights, IL,
and Vicki Bryant of Tulsa, OK. He also has many cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved him dearly.
