Sarah Ann Kirsch, 82, Cocoa, FL, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018, due to complications of Parkinson’s Disease. Sarah was born December 16, 1935 in Rising Star, Texas, the daughter of Clay D. Anderson and Zona E. Jones.
Sarah enjoyed traveling, cooking, card games, knitting, tennis and many activities with her friends and neighbors at Lost Lakes Community. Sarah was an award-winning tennis player, instructor of tennis, and served as a high school tennis coach in Indiana.
She is survived by her son Andy (Kathy) Stewart of Evansville, IN; granddaughter Dr. Alice Stewart (Dan) Wyatt of Evansville, IN; sister Betty Jo Kerr of Odessa, TX ; and several nieces and nephews. Sarah is predeceased by her husband Robert B. Kirsch.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM (EDT) on Tuesday, July 03, 2018 at Grace United Methodist Church, 65 Needle Blvd, Merritt Island, FL, with a reception following the service.
