Angelina F. Galanza passed away on October 6, 2012 in Gilbert, Arizona. Born in the Philippines to Andres and Silvestra (nee Ramos) Failano. She was married to the love of her life, Juanito Galanza, and together they spent 50 wonderful years. Angelina obtained a bachelor’s degree in Education in the Philippines before moving to the United States in 1978. Her favorite past-time was playing bingo. Angelina called her bingo playing “Bingo University”! She worked with a medical supply company, but most importantly she was a homemaker. Her family was her world. Angelina always had a positive up-beat attitude. This was a trait she passed on to her children and grandchildren. Her love for them was evident in all she did for them. Everything Angelina did was to show them how much she loved and cared for them. She took an active role in each of their lives. She was kind and patient, but if she needed to, she would fight for those she loved. Angelina is survived by her daughters Maria Sala, Arlene Rodriguez, Anna Liza Henderson, and Warlita Angkham, grandchildren Joseph Sala, Jeremy Sala, Sheila Angkham, David Angkham, Rochelle Henderson, Janna Sala, Journee Henderson, and Jemal Henderson, great granddaughter Kaylia Perez, brothers Nardy Failano, and Mike Failano, and sisters Claudia Labsilica, and Trinidad Santiago. She is preceded in death by her adoring husband, Juanito Galanza, and her parents Andres and Silvestra Failano.
