Anna was born with Down Syndrome, but her parents raised her to be just like the other kids. Anna was active in the Special Olympics where she participated in Down Hill Skiing, Ice Skating, Track and Field, Bowling, and so much more. Anna even attended the World Special Olympics in Washington DC where she represented Arizona.
Ann was so loved by her community in Kearny, Arizona even after moving to Mesa, where she lived with her niece, Yvette Fernandez. Anna travel everyday with Frances to Kearny to attend ARC Center, until she became ill and could not travel.
Anna was preceded in death by her loving parents, Frank and Mary Louise Quiroz, sister; Yolanda Pulido, sister-in-law; Kathy Quiroz. She is survived by her nieces/caregivers; Yvette (Alex) Fernandez, Yvonne Dominguez,, brothers; Frankie (Cata), Bobby (Gloria), and Tommy.
A visitation for Anna will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85206. A rosary service will occur Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 7:00 PM, 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85206. A visitation will occur Friday, June 28, 2019 at 9:00 AM at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church, 501 Victoria Circle, Kearny, Arizona. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Infant of Prague Catholic Church, 501 Victoria Circle, Kearny, AZ 85137. A burial will occur Friday, June 28, 2019 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 East Main Street, Mesa, Arizona 85207.
Serving as pallbearers are Alex Fernandez Sr., Alex Fernandez Jr., Ruben Serna, Timmy Serna, Frankie Quiroz, Rudy Pulido Jr., Stanley Brady, Bobby Dodge and "The Late" Dan Noli.
