Mrs Urick was my Home room teacher during my time at U.C.L.A, maybe she had something to do in a way with me being a teacher. I never got the chance to tell her, Thanks Mrs Urick

My first recollection of Mrs. Urick was in 1963 and involved a seam ripper when I was a freshman in high school. I enjoyed all the years I took sewing and am grateful for everything she taught me. My thoughts and prayers go to her family and my thanks for sharing her with us.

Condolences to the family!!! I am living proof that anyone can be taught to sew if given the right teacher. RIP Mrs. Urick. I'm sure those Angel wings have already been sewn on for you.

Dear Pat and Family, 

Great Auntie Arlene was one of the most classy, beautiful, and gracious ladies I have known.  We corresponded for over 40 years, sharing Christmas cards and an occasional visit at her home in Arizona.
I have memories dating back to kindergarten, including sleep-overs with Patty at the family home on Cedar Island Lake.

My thoughts are with you; she is at peace.

Great Auntie Arlene was one of the most beautiful, gracious, and kind ladies I have ever known.  As a little girl, I used to spend time with the family at their a Cedar Island Lake home. Arlene and I exchanged Christmas cards from the time I was in college.  She touched the lives of many people, and will be missed. Blessings to the family.

Arlene was such a classy lady with whom I have such respect!!!  I was fortunate to be able to be with her during many family gatherings with Barb..."my great friend." I always told Barb that she reminded me of June Cleaver....A lady ....with great class and grace.  I have such respect for Arlene.....May her spirit  live on... to continue forward her class and grace to future generations.

Pat and Families,  I enjoyed all the good things we learned from your mom and Mrs. Melby and still use a few of the recipes.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mrs. Urick was a great teacher. I often think of her when I'm using the skills she taught us. God bless her family at this time of mourning.
