I'm happy I had the chance to visit him and to see how brave and honest he was about facing his cancer.  You are a strong woman and have your friends and family here to support you.- All our love

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.  Although my heart is breaking to know I must go on without Art, I also know he is in a much better place.  He is no longer suffering with all the pain he had to endure and I thank God that it was only this past week that things became so very difficult for him.  He was very strong and faced this cancer head on, only thinking of others.  We would have celebrated 42 years of marriage on August 15th, but he knew he was not going to be here, so he had Keith take him shopping to buy me a gift and a card. As I told him many many times,I will always LOVE him!
