

She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on September 13, 1945. Barbara attended Snowflake High School and received a real estate/broker license from Arizona School of Real Estate.
She was married to John J. Milam on July 14, 2020 in Mesa, Arizona.
Barbara had a successful career in real estate as the co-owner of Century 21 Barb Brewer & Associates. She also worked for various other real estate offices in Globe, Safford, Chandler, Pinetop/Lakeside, and Snowflake.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had a passion for family, genealogy, painting, and all arts and crafts, even woodworking and jewelry making. In her early years she was on a bowling league and enjoyed trips to the lake, where she would go boating and jet-skiing.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Ewing Hurley and Viola Clara Nunn; Granddaughter, Shasta Lyn; Siblings, Sonny Homesley, Lenny Phillips, Betty Ringgold, Elverta Norvell, Verna Whitman, A.B. Nunn, J.R. Nunn, Maye Dickson, and Allene Powell.
She is survived by her spouse, John J Milam; her children, LaLani Gibson (Darryl), Bridgett Hanley (Tracy), Cami Lucero (Roger); her grandchildren, Trevor White (Talsha), M'Quaid White (Ivette), and Jake White (Madison), Remi Lucero, Michael Gibson, Ethan Gibson (Amanda); her great-grandchildren, Zaine and Khloe White, Grayson and Levi White, Ava White and Jack Greene; her brother, Rocky Nunn (Gayle) and family, Eugene Archibeque (Theresa) and family, Diane Valencia and family.
A visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3025 S Hawes Rd, Mesa, AZ 85212, on April 11, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location on April 11, 2026, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park, 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85206, on April 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
