86 of Mesa, AZ passed away on February 1, 2012. He served in the US Navy during WWII from 1943 – 1946. He was an amazing soldier who was proud to serve his country and the people he was fighting for. Dad worked as a ranch hand on several ranches in the state after his time in the service. He often spoke of being alone on the range while gathering strays. And although it was just him and his horse he was never alone as he believed in the Lord.
He loved fishing, hunting, boating, hanging out with his children and grand children.
He is survived by his 4 children Lunda Schemahorn, Brian Rowland, Brad Rowland, and Bruce Rowland, 14 grand-children, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. Private celebration services will be announced @ mariposagardens.com at a later date.
