

Barry Priest was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Barry will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was the son of Craig and Janica Priest. Barry was born in Ogden, Utah. He grew up in Wrightwood, California and Centerville, Utah. Barry was raised with one sibling. He had a younger sister, Christine Johnson.
Barry was an took part in baseball. He was a Boy Scout. In his spare time he liked to read and play video games. Barry's memorable achievements included scoring in the top 10% in the nation of college SAT. Barry graduated from Viewmont High School in 1995. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. He played on the Viewmont Vikings Varsity football team.
Barry enjoyed his college years, he earned his Bachelor of Environmental Economics. His favorite courses were environmental sceince.
While growing up, some of his best friends were Jeff Potter, Stryker. Later in life, he became friends with Heather Black, the entire crew at Chipotle in Prescott.
Fortunately, Barry enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Barry worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was General Manager. He was employed for a couple years at Chipotle.
Barry enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were video games, hiking and reading.
In high school, Barry played football. Later in life he enjoyed recreational sports such as golfing, hiking and kayaking. Barry's favorite sport to watch was football. Barry enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. His favorite vacations included back packing in Europe and hiking in the Grand Canyon. Barry was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. Two of his favorites were Loki and Thor, two golden retriever dogs. They were best friends for 11 years.
Barry passed away on August 27, 2012 at at home in Prescott, Arizona from a heart attack caused by heart disease. He is survived by his mom and dad, Craig and Janice and his sister Christine. Services were held at Mariposa Gardens. Barry will be scattered in the Rocky Mountains in Utah.
Simply stated, Barry was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Barry leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Barry Priest.
