Betty C. Harris, 66, passed away at 2:16 p.m. Friday March 5, at her residence in Mesa, Arizona.
Mrs. Harris was born June 9, 1943 in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of Walter and Dorothy (Watson) Wells, both preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, John H. Harris Sr. the two were married in St. Joseph Catholic Church of Paulding Ohio in 1965. She will be deeply missed by her two sons John “Jack” Harris Jr. of Columbus OH and Michael Harris of Corning NY; a daughter, Shannon (Harris) Branham of Mesa AZ; grandchildren, Nicholas, John (Alex), Morgan, Jackie, Marlena, Adelle and Marlon (Zeke); one brother Walter Wells of Paradise Valley AZ; one sister Brenda (Wells) Vappie of Mesa AZ and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Service Thursday March 11, 2010 6:00 p.m. at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel 6747 E. Broadway Rd. Mesa, AZ. Arrangements under the direction of Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, Mesa, AZ.
