Billy Ray Posey was born in Quinton, Oklahoma on December 18, 1946, which made him what he’d call an Okie. He met the love of his life, Cindy, in 1971 and married her 9 months later on March 31,1972. After two years of marriage they brought their first son, Frank, into the world on the day after Father’s Day of 1974. He spent his life farming, fishing and spending time with his family. Though he was an Okie he spent much of his life in Arizona, a state he loved and where he passed on December 10, 2021. He is survived by his wife, son, and granddaughters.
His service will be held at Mesa Church of Christ on one of his favorite days of the year, his birthday, December 18, 2021.
