Boyd Wayne Carr

Boyd is survived by his parents; his children, Kari (Joel) Carr, Tabitha (Craig) Barber, Katie Carr and Garrett Carr; two stepsons Mike (Alexandra) Ratay and Nick (Cinthia) Ratay; four granddaughters Quinn and Paige Barber, Nicole and Morgan Ratay and expecting two additional grandchildren, a grandson in January 2021 and a granddaughter in February 2021; three sisters, Tracy (Ed) Carr, Cindy (Steve) Richardson, and Jeanne (Damon) Davis and one brother, Guy Carr; several loved nieces and nephews and many other loving family members.

Boyd was born in Mesa on October 10, 1962 to loving parents, Richard and Anne Carr. He attended Chandler High School and served in the United States Navy.

Boyd was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, great uncle and a caring friend to many, many people. His family was the most important part of his life. He loved cooking, baking, and smoking the tastiest of meats and he was great at it. He also enjoyed hunting and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Boyd was a general contractor and was known for his beautiful woodwork and many great masterpieces. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
