

Carolyn was born on June 11, 1944, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Ruby Disbrow and Carl Hoffmeyer, both of whom preceded her in death.
Carolyn dedicated her professional life to working as a Medical Transcriptionist, a career she was deeply passionate about and took great pride in, her strong work ethic and attention to detail reflected her desire to serve others with care and excellence.
Her faith was the foundation of her life and guided her relationships, her kindness, and the way she showed up for others every day. Outside of her career, Carolyn found joy in crocheting, nurturing her gospel faith, and sharing a deep love for animals.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Gilbert Pearson; her daughter Pamela Dewberry and son-in-law Gary Dewberry; her son Kevin Grogitsky and daughter-in-law Kim Grogitsky; and her daughter Kimberley Williams and son-in-law Clint Williams.
She's also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Those who knew Carolyn will remember her most for her warm smile, her comforting hugs, and her unwavering faith. She had a gentle presence that made people feel loved, welcomed, and at peace. Her legacy of faith, compassion, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Carolyn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
