Carrie departed this life on April 5, 2011 to reunite with devoted husband Carmen. Married for 51 years, Carrie dedicated her life to her family, served as a leading woman member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, and will be fondly remembered by friends and family for her kindness, humor, and personal strength in meeting life’s challenges with a gracious smile and a welcoming home. Carrie is survived by daughters Judith and Sandra LaFarnara, brothers James and George Lynch, sister Mildred (Lynch) Syracuse, in-laws Josephine Carter, John La Farnara, and Jenny La Farnara of Batavia, Alice Lynch of Oakfield, Patricia Lynch of Batavia, numerous friends, and several nieces and nephews. A private viewing will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 at Lakeshore Mortuary in Mesa, Arizona. Carrie will be memorialized in a Catholic service at Resurrection Catholic Church with private interment services immediately following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery on April 9, 2011. Memorials may be made to the family or to Hospice of the Valley, Arbor Home in Mesa, Arizona.
