With great sorrow, we announce the passing of our kind, caring, and wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie, and friend, Christina Lee Hallows-Fa'aso'o. Chrissy connected with people quickly and deeply and impacted everyone that knew her with humor, grace, and charm.
She was born on October 6th, 1978, in Glendale, Arizona, to James and Lillie Hallows and was the youngest of four siblings. She grew up in Mesa, Arizona, and attended Irving Elementary School, Taylor Junior High, and graduated from Mesa High School. Over the years, she worked many interesting jobs and made significant lifelong friendships at each. Her last ten years were spent working for Mesa Public Schools at a position she loved, surrounded by friends and children she was excited to see every day.
Chrissy married the love of her life, Junior Fa'aso'o, and together they created a beautiful family. She was a devoted wife and caring mother to their three children, Gabrielle, Luke, and Jerome. Her family was the light of her life, and we feel fortunate for the legacy of love she left behind for all of them.
Throughout her life, Chrissy maintained a close relationship with her siblings, James (Heather) and Jason (Jamie) Hallows, who were always there to protect and support her, and Candeleria (Cory) Tucker, with whom she shared not only a sisterly bond but one of true friendship.
Chrissy was a beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews, including Emma Hallows, Brylee and her husband Brennen Gardener, McKenna, Hayden, Wyatt, and Quentin Tucker, all of whom she loved dearly.
Chrissy's heart was big and kind, and she always made time for others, no matter how busy she was. Her family and friends will deeply miss her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her Heavenly Father and all of the family and friends who passed before her. We all look forward to the day when we will see her again.
Rest in eternal glory, Chrissy.
